Parents of students with Orders, Please pick-up your child's orders at BMS Thursday, November 20th from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. Parents may enter on the front of the school /bus line for pick-up. 5th and 6th grade parents go to the 5th/6th grade doors and 7th and 8th grade parents go to the 7th/8th grade doors. Those who purchased sweet potatoes should contact their seller for pick-up arrangements with them.

Good Afternoon BMS Family, Just a reminder that tomorrow, Monday, November 17th is the last day for orders for the Sweet Potato Sale. All Money and Forms are due tomorrow. Remember, the person who sells the most sweet potatoes will receive a $100 cash prize!!! Let's Do It!

Brewton City Schools is pleased to share the 2025 State Report Card results released by the Alabama State Department of Education. Each of our schools earned an A, and the district earned an overall A with a score of 94.
These results reflect the continued commitment of our students, teachers, staff, and administrators, as well as the support of our families and community. We will use this data, along with our ongoing assessment and improvement processes, to strengthen instruction and maintain high expectations for every learner.

BCS Updates:
BCS will continue with the dress code that was revised before the start of the school year last year (7/15/2024).
Also, the BCS BOE will discuss a revision in policy to address the recent legislation act passed in May, known as the FOCUS ACT. This prohibits the use of personal electronic devices during the instructional day. This will be looked at at the next board meeting which is Monday, July 28, at 5 p.m. in the BCS Board Room.

We have several things coming up in the next few weeks. Here is a schedule of our upcoming events.
BMS will have Open House on Monday, Aug. 4 from 1-3 p.m.
BMS and TRM will have a full first day of school on Tuesday, Aug 5.
BES will have Meet The Teacher on Tuesday, Aug. 5 (at their scheduled times) and their first full day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 6.
TRM's dates for orientations and schedule pick up will be posted at a later date.

Calling ALL Brewton Middle School Students and Parents!!!
School starts Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Join us for our BMS Back to School Open House, Monday, August 4, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Parents please plan to arrive at 12:30 pm so that everyone can be seated and we can begin promptly at 1:00 pm. The first 45 minutes will be held in the gym. During this time we will have Faculty and Staff Introductions, a brief Informational Session, and then parents and students can receive students' schedules. After schedule pick-ups, parents and students will be able to tour the school, meet classroom teachers, and receive locker combinations from students' homeroom teachers. Mark your calendars!!! See everyone there!!!

They will be given out on the first day of school.
Students taking art and other special area classes may need other items and fees to pay.
Please reach out to your individual school for more information.
Also, just a reminder as well, that BES and BMS will continue to participate in the CEP program for the 2025-2026 school year. Students will receive free breakfast and lunch through this program.
