Degrees and Certifications:

  • My name is Amber Lambert. I am the 7th-grade math at Brewton Middle School. I am originally from Frisco City, Alabama, and graduated from Troy State University with a Bachelor’s degree in K-6 Elementary/Collaborative Education. I am also certified in Middle School Mathematics. I am currently working on my Master’s degree and becoming STEM certified. My husband of 24 years, Andy Lambert, teaches math at T.R. Miller High School where he also serves as Defensive Coordinator for the Tigers and is an assistant baseball coach. We have two sons, Mason (21) and Brantson (20). Mason graduated from Coastal Alabama Community College and now attends Troy University, where he serves as a student assistant for the Trojan football team. Brantson attends Coastal Alabama Community College, where he serves as an Ambassador and plays baseball.

Over the past 16 years, I have had the honor of teaching at Monroeville Junior High School, Excel School, Russellville Elementary School, Haleyville Middle School, and Brewton Elementary School. My teaching experience includes 6th-grade math, 1st grade, 7th-grade math/pre-algebra, 3rd grade, special education, and STEAM. My students are a gift, and I am blessed to be a small part in their journey. I love to watch them grow and learn!

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, art, and photography outside of teaching. I am thankful for the opportunity to join the BMS family and be a part of Brewton City Schools.
