Child Nutrition Program
Brewton City Board of Education operates a school lunch program under the guidelines and regulations of the federal Child Nutrition Program at Brewton Elementary School and Brewton Middle School. At either school, the price for a paid student lunch is $2.55 per day. For those students qualifying for a federally subsidized reduced lunch, the daily amount per meal is 40 cents. An extra milk is 35 cents per carton for all students. A guest lunch is $3.80 per meal. Guests should schedule a meal through the lunchroom manager or school office.
The application form for a free or reduced student lunch may be acquired at the school office. Only one application for free or reduced meals needs to be submitted for all students who are in one family and living at one address. This application will include the names of all the children in the family so it is only necessary for one application to be completed. The financial table for qualifying for free or reduced lunches is below.
