I graduated from the University of West Florida in December 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I taught 4-year old Pre-K at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church from August of 1997-May 1998.  My official career in education began with teaching Kindergarten at Brewton Elementary in August 1998.  I did such a great job that I was then promoted to 3rd grade for 18 years.  Currently, I am one of the 4th grade math, science, and Alabama history teachers.  I am happily married to J. P. Roberts, a freelance children's book illustrator and motion graphics artist. We are the proud parents of four beautiful children.
