I graduated from Auburn University in December 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. In 2016, I  obtained a master's degree in elementary education from the University of South Alabama. I taught first grade at Evergreen Elementary School from January 2008-May 2008, Title 1 Reading at Brewton Elementary from August 2008-May 2009, and 1st grade at Flomaton Elementary School from August 2009-May 2011.  I started teaching at Brewton Elementary School in August 2011. I taught 1st grade for 3 years and I now co-teach with Mrs. Lloyd and teach reading, grammar, and spelling to second grade students. I absolutely love teaching second grade students!

I am married to Andrew Casey who is an investigator at the Brewton Police Department. We have a little boy, RJ, who is a 2nd grade student at BES and a little girl, Ali Grace who is due to make her arrival June 2021.
